How grading works
Every hook gets an automated grade from what can be checked on-chain and in Uniswap Labs' public hook registry. It is not an audit.
A · Looks safe
Listed in Uniswap's registry, source verified, not upgradeable.
B · Probably fine
Not upgradeable, but unregistered or unverified.
C · Be careful
Upgradeable without the ability to change swap amounts, or unregistered and able to change swap amounts.
D · High risk
An upgradeable proxy that can also change swap amounts, or an address with no code.
Why "can change swap amounts" matters
Hooks with a ReturnDelta permission can take or add tokens inside a swap. That's how legitimate fees, burns and custom curves work, and it's also how hooks that quote one price and settle another take money from traders.
