Create or Advanced: which UniHooks builder should you use?
7 November 2026
UniHooks has two ways to build: Create and Advanced. Both use the same tested rules. The difference is whose contract your pool uses.
Create: the quick way
- Your pool uses the shared UniHooks hook, which is already deployed and verified on Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Unichain and Robinhood Chain.
- Your rules are stored for your pool only. Other pools on the same hook have their own rules.
- One transaction creates the pool with your rules. Nothing to deploy.
- Free to create; UniHooks takes 0.10% of each swap.
Best for: most token launches. It's the fastest way to get a pool with anti-snipe, taxes or a lock.
Advanced: your own hook
- You deploy your own hook contract at your own address, from your own wallet.
- Start from the same tested rules, then describe anything extra in plain words and AI writes the custom code into your hook. See how that works.
- Choose Public (any token can launch a pool with it, paired with ETH or a stablecoin) or Private (only your token can use it, paired with anything).
- Its source code is published on the chain's block explorer automatically, so anyone can read it.
- Your hook gets its own page on UniHooks, where you launch pools with it. The page also helps you submit it to Uniswap so it can be traded in Uniswap's app.
Best for: projects that want their own contract and brand on-chain, custom behaviour beyond the 15 rules, or a hook other tokens can use.
Quick comparison
- Time: Create takes one transaction. Advanced takes a deploy, then a pool.
- Address: Create uses the shared UniHooks hook. Advanced gives you your own.
- Rules: the same 15 tested rules in both. See the full list.
- Custom code: only in Advanced, written by AI from your description.
Try it on your own token. Pick the rules, sign one transaction, no code.Create a hook
