How to launch a token on Uniswap with custom rules, no code
7 November 2026
Launching a token usually means a plain Uniswap pool, or paying a developer to write a custom contract. The UniHooks builder sits in between: you pick ready-made rules for your pool, and it creates the pool on Uniswap with those rules attached. No code, no contract to deploy.
What you need
- Your token already deployed (any standard ERC-20).
- A wallet such as MetaMask with a little ETH for gas.
- The tokens and the pairing asset (for example ETH or USDC) you want to put in as liquidity.
1. Choose the rules
Tick the rules you want and set the numbers: anti-snipe, a sell tax, auto-burn, a liquidity lock and more. The rulebook on the right updates as you go and says in plain words exactly what your pool will do. See every rule explained.
2. Paste your token
Paste your token's contract address. The builder finds which chains it's on. If the same address exists on several chains, pick the one you want under Launch on.
3. Pick what to pair with and the starting price
Choose ETH, a stablecoin or search for any token. Then set the starting price per token in dollars, or as a market cap. The builder works out the rest.
4. Create the pool
Read the notice, tick the box and click Connect wallet & create pool. You sign one transaction. It creates the pool on Uniswap itself, with your rules locked in. Your tokens stay in your wallet until you add liquidity.
5. Add liquidity
We link you straight to Uniswap with your pool, fee and hook already filled in. Enter the amounts and confirm. Trading starts as soon as the liquidity is in, with your rules applying from the very first trade.
Costs
Creating the pool is free apart from gas. UniHooks takes 0.10% of each swap in pools created this way. That's it.
